Mr. Tang Ru'an is Chief Executive Officer and Director of
Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., fully responsible
for the capital operations, finance, marketing, legal and
cooperation affairs. He also oversees the formulation and
execution of operation and product strategies.
Shortly after his graduation, Mr. Tang joined the First Research
Institute of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.
After that, he has been an assistant engineer and an engineer
at the research department of Satellite Communications. He
entered a technology department of the Ministry of Posts and
Telecommunications in 1993, holding the positions of Vice
Director and Senior Engineer. He was appointed Vice Chairman,
Party Secretary and Senior Vice Director of the First Research
Institute of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications
in 1994 and 1997 respectively. In 1998, he was promoted Chairman
of the institute and was acknowledged as Professorial Senior
Engineer. In the same year, he was granted special subsidy
from the government.
His contributions were publicly acknowledged in the industry.
He was appointed as an officer of Wireless Telecommunications
Association of Shanghai Institute of Communications and a
member of the expert group of Shanghai Information Harbor
Project. Mr. Tang holds a professional master degree and a
Professorial Senior Engineer tile.

Co.,Ltd, responsible for the Research and Development division.

doctor's degree and the position of senior engineer.
Tony Lear

Mr.Tony Lear is Senior Vice President & Divisional Executive of Greater China for NXP semiconductors , the new semiconductor company separated from Royal Philips in October 2006 .
Tony was appointed as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Philips Semiconductors China on September 1, 2003. Prior to this assignment, h e was the Chief Executive Officer of Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company since February 1, 2001. SSMC is a joint venture between Philips, TSMC and the investment arm of Economic Development Board of Singapore. He joined Philips Semiconductors in 1996 as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Philips Semiconductors Hamburg, Germany.
Before joining Philips, Tony Lear was the Managing Director of Seagate Microelectronics Ltd in Scotland. This was a semiconductor design and manufacturing subsidiary of Seagate Technology Inc. of the USA. During this time he was actively involved with other chip companies setting up a number of alliances and technology exchange agreements. He was also a founding board member of the National Microelectronics Institute in the UK.
Prior to his time with Seagate, Tony Lear was the Chief Technology Officer of IPS, a chip start up company in Scotland. In this position he was also heavily engaged with corporate alliances and with the financial community.
Tony Lear's business career started in 1968 with Texas Instruments after graduating in physics from the University of Leeds in the UK. During his 16 years with TI he served in a number of key technical and senior managerial roles.
Thierry Laurent

Thierry Laurent was appointed to head Philips Semiconductors'
Mobile Communications Business Unit in May 2001. Since 1999
Thierry headed the Telecom Terminals Business Unit. Before
the merger with VLSI, Mr Laurent was Senior Vice President
and General Manager of VLSI's Communication Products Group
for 7 years. Mr Laurent was with VLSI for 18 years. Before
joining VLSI in 1981, he was with Advanced Micro Devices in
the United States where he was working in the telecommunication
Division and with Texas Instruments in France.
Mr Laurent holds an electronics degree from ESIEE in Paris,
and did advanced studies in microelectronics at Louvain in
Belgium.
Thierry Laurent was born in Chaumont, France in 1951, is
married and has 1 child.
