Beijing - Nov 19, 2007 - T3G announced today that it has won the leading product award at the EDN China Innovation Awards for its TD-SCDMA core processor and dual-mode AHO solution 7208.

T3G TD-SCDMA core processor and 7208 solution jointly developed by T3G and NXP semiconductor can realize the automatic handover between TD-SCDMA and GSM/GPRS/EDGE. 

Handsets that adopted this breakthrough solution can support bi-directional instant automatic handover between TD-SCDMA networks and GSM networks, and can realize automatic network searching, which will enable users to experience seamless handover and ensures the services quality and customer satisfaction.      

This AHO function has been already realized in TD-SCDMA network constructed by Datang Mobile, ZTE and TD-TECH. The trial adopted T3G TD-SCDMA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE dual mode reference design platform, voice services can be successfully switched from3G TD-SCDMA network to 2.5G GSM/GPRS/EDGE network seamlessly. Users will not feel be influenced even if in on-call status. Network selecting and handover are all implemented by the handset itself, no handwork needed. Thus users will enjoy real seamless multi-mode experience.

EDN China Innovation Awards 2007 is the third one for such appraisal events. There are 194 products from 106 companies entered for this year appraisal.
